Dear Linda Vista neighbors and friends,

Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding during our construction on the Francis Parker School Linda Vista Campus. As you may know, we are committed to providing clear, timely, and informative communication with our community and neighbors. To this end, we write to inform you of an upcoming campus emergency notification system test that will take place on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

At Francis Parker School, the personal safety of students, faculty, staff, and our community is a top priority. This January, we have installed a new campus security speaker on top of J. Crivello Hall in the heart of the Linda Vista Campus. This allows us to provide clear instructions to the entire Campus in case of an incident requiring mass dissemination of information. This speaker provides a reliable and intelligible system for campus notifications and will only be used for emergency drills or in the case of a true emergency.

On January 2, 2024, the speaker will be tested for the first time between the hours of 2 and 5 pm. You may hear a voice or brief alarm over the speaker during this window of time.

Following this testing, we will ensure that our announcements clearly indicate whether we are using the speaker in the case of an emerging incident or an emergency drill.

We are proud to be a member of the Linda Vista community and understand the potential nuisance this installation will be for our closest neighbors. We appreciate your understanding, patience, and cooperation during this installation and your ongoing support of our provision of a safe environment for students.

Please contact either of the following School representatives if you have questions or concerns:

Sincerely,

Allison Kaufman
