The board
Every person here is a volunteer and a neighbor. The board meets on the first Wednesday of the month and sets what the council takes to the City.
Open seats
We are short-handed, and that is the honest reason some things on this site move slowly. If you live in Linda Vista, you are eligible.
How it works
What being on the board actually involves
One evening a month, plus whatever time you choose to put into the issue you pick up. Nobody is paid, nobody has a staff, and no experience is required — the useful qualification is caring about something specific in the neighborhood and being willing to keep asking about it.
Board members are elected by the membership. Terms and the election process are set out in the bylaws.
